Gather food and supplies;
The Apocalypse is coming,
And we must prepare.
The monster of the loch,
The alien takeover,
The attack of Sasquatch—
Throw in the Fiscal Cliff
And you have every popular myth.
So collect all the lights and mirrors you can find.
For the vampires are coming.
And forget the crosses.
Religion is their weapon.
And forget the garlic.
These vampires don’t seek blood.
They seek what’s in your wallet.
The Fiscal Cliff is a myth.
And Sisyphus is cracking up
As the rock rolls over us.
The Fiscal Cliff is a myth.
And we are going over it.
The Fiscal Cliff is a myth,
Another scheme to serve the rich.
So don’t you dare question it
(Lest you bite into their profits).
The Fiscal Cliff is a myth,
And we are being pushed over it.
Cut! Cut! Cut social benefits.
Cut! Cut! Cut! Fuck the poor.
Cut! Cut! Cut what you can and run with it.
Cut! Cut! And keep on fighting wars, across the planet.
Cut! Cut! Cut!
Prepare yourself for end of prosperity—
The Myth of Prosperity.
When your wealth,
When your society’s wealth,
Is extracted
With the bomb,
And the gun—
Extracted,
Stolen,
From the colony,
From the colonial subject,
From the colonized land ,
From an entire people’s future,
Prepare for your society to crumble.
Gather food and supplies;
For the Sequester is coming,
And we must prepare.
"Trickle Down" from on high,
The Invisible Hand,
Arbeit macht frei,
And the fucking "Free" Market lie—
Throw in the Fiscal Cliff
And you have every profitable fib.
So collect all the rights and freedoms you can hide.
For the politicians are coming.
And forget voting.
The State is their weapon.
Forget about “justice.”
These shills don’t seek to help.
They seek to fill their wallets.
The Fiscal Cliff is a myth.
And Sisyphus is cracking up
As the rock rolls over us.
The Fiscal Cliff is a myth.
And we are going over it.
The Fiscal Cliff is a myth,
Another scheme to serve the rich.
So don’t you dare question it,
(Lest you bite into their profits).
The Fiscal Cliff is a myth,
And we are being pushed over it.
"[We're] as mad as hell,
And [we're] not going to take this anymore."
Austerity's a death wish.
And a death wish has only one proper form:
Throw the rich off the fiscal cliff.

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
I made love with my girlfriend so many times on this album. It is incredible. The songs are so beautiful and the rythm so well coordinated for this kind of moment... Anyway, always good to listen to it in the bus too Faugus
